Lagercrantz's climate commitments focus on reducing carbon intensity. For the reporting year 2026, the company reported total emissions of approximately 265,786,000 kg CO2e. This includes Scope 1 emissions of about 4,455,000 kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions of approximately 2,438,000 kg CO2e (location-based). Scope 3 emissions were the largest component, totalling around 256,803,000 kg CO2e, with purchased goods and services representing a significant portion at about 194,350,000 kg CO2e.

For the reporting year 2025, total emissions were approximately 254,310,000 kg CO2e. Scope 1 emissions were about 5,055,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 2 emissions were around 5,835,000 kg CO2e (market-based). Scope 3 emissions amounted to approximately 243,420,000 kg CO2e, with purchased goods and services accounting for about 179,277,000 kg CO2e.

In 2024, Lagercrantz reported total emissions of approximately 199,422,000 kg CO2e. Scope 1 emissions were about 2,420,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 2 emissions were around 2,436,000 kg CO2e. Scope 3 emissions totalled approximately 194,567,000 kg CO2e, with purchased goods and services being the largest contributor at about 174,341,000 kg CO2e.

Lagercrantz has set an overriding goal to reduce the Group’s carbon intensity metric (tonne CO2e/MSEK) by 50% by 2030, using 2020/2021 as the base year. This target applies to comparable units and is in line with the Paris Climate Agreement, covering both Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.
