In 2024, Manitou Group reported total carbon emissions of approximately 6.1 billion kg CO2e. This figure includes Scope 1 emissions of about 18.7 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of approximately 3.8 million kg CO2e (market-based), and a significant Scope 3 contribution of around 6.1 billion kg CO2e, primarily from the use of sold products.

Manitou Group has set ambitious climate commitments, aiming to reduce its absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 46.2% by 2030, using 2019 as the baseline year. This target aligns with a 1.5°C trajectory under the Paris Agreement. Additionally, the company plans to reduce Scope 3 emissions from purchased goods and services, upstream transportation and distribution, and the use of sold products by 33.7% per hour of use of sold equipment within the same timeframe.

To further enhance its sustainability efforts, Manitou Group is committed to transitioning its fleet to low-emission vehicles, targeting 30% by 2025 and 100% by 2030. These initiatives reflect the company's dedication to reducing its carbon footprint and contributing to global climate goals.
