For the 2024 reporting year, Nextera Energy Partners LP reported total Scope 1 emissions of approximately 43.4 billion kg CO2e. Scope 3 emissions for 2024 totalled approximately 65.2 million kg CO2e, with business travel accounting for about 15 million kg CO2e and fuel and energy-related activities for approximately 50.2 million kg CO2e.
In the 2023 reporting year, total Scope 1 emissions were approximately 42.3 billion kg CO2e. Scope 3 emissions for 2023 were approximately 2.7 billion kg CO2e, including about 15.5 million kg CO2e for business travel and over 647.6 million kg CO2e for the use of sold products.
