PARCO, headquartered in PK and operating within the Refinery Gas industry, has outlined its carbon emissions data and climate commitments.

In 2023, PARCO reported Scope 1 emissions totalling approximately 663,200,000 kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions of approximately 150,600,000 kg CO2e. This represents a decrease from 2022, when Scope 1 emissions were approximately 730,800,000 kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions were approximately 165,000,000 kg CO2e. In 2021, PARCO's Scope 1 emissions were approximately 630,400,000 kg CO2e, with Scope 2 emissions at approximately 131,700,000 kg CO2e. The company's emissions in 2020 were approximately 404,900,000 kg CO2e for Scope 1 and approximately 90,200,000 kg CO2e for Scope 2. PARCO has not disclosed Scope 3 emissions data for the periods reported.

PARCO has established several reduction targets. The company is committed to achieving net zero for its Scope 1 emissions by 2030. Furthermore, PARCO aims for a 30% reduction in Scope 1 emissions by 2025, using 2021 as its baseline. For Scope 2 emissions, PARCO aims for a 25% reduction by 2025, also from a 2021 baseline. Complementing these targets, PARCO is committed to achieving net zero for its Scope 2 emissions by 2030.
