Reunert, a South African company in the Electricity nec sector, reported its carbon emissions for 2025 as follows:

• Scope 1 emissions: 7,443,000 kg CO2e, comprising 4,075,000 kg CO2e from mobile combustion and 3,367,000 kg CO2e from stationary combustion.
• Scope 2 emissions: 39,945,000 kg CO2e, with 6,375,000 kg CO2e from purchased electricity.
• Scope 3 emissions: 293,960,000 kg CO2e, including 131,000 kg CO2e from business travel, 4,201,000 kg CO2e from employee commute, 6,375,000 kg CO2e from upstream leased assets, 282,240,000 kg CO2e from purchased goods and services, and 1,012,000 kg CO2e from waste generated in operations.

For 2024, Reunert's Scope 1 emissions were 8,309,000 kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions were 29,480,000 kg CO2e. In 2023, Scope 1 emissions were 7,802,000 kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions were 33,689,000 kg CO2e. Looking back to 2016, Reunert's total emissions were approximately 477.3 million kg CO2e, with Scope 1 at 6,168,810 kg CO2e, Scope 2 at 45,239,810 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at 425,932,510 kg CO2e. The significant Scope 3 emissions that year included 304,325,400 kg CO2e from upstream transportation and distribution, 111,917,590 kg CO2e from purchased goods and services, 5,943,020 kg CO2e from upstream leased assets, 2,576,260 kg CO2e from business travel, and 1,055,730 kg CO2e from waste generated in operations. Reunert does not currently have publicly disclosed climate commitments or reduction targets.
