Climate Commitments and Reduction Targets:

Saur is committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions in line with the 1.5°C trajectory endorsed by the Paris Agreement. Key commitments include:

• Absolute Scope 1 and 2 Emissions Reduction: By 2030, Saur aims to reduce its absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% compared to a 2021 baseline year.
• Absolute Scope 3 Emissions Reduction: Saur also commits to reducing its absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 25% by 2030, relative to a 2021 baseline. This reduction covers categories such as purchased goods and services, fuel and energy-related activities, upstream transportation and distribution, waste generated in operations, business travel, employee commuting, use of sold products, and end-of-life treatment of sold products.
• Intensity-Based Targets: Saur has set an objective to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions to 24 tonnes of CO2 equivalent per million Euros (tCO2eq/M€) by 2025, calculated as a 3-year rolling average. By the end of 2022, carbon emissions had already seen a significant decrease, moving from 144.3 tCO2eq/M€ to 114.3 tCO2eq/M€ compared to 2020.

Saur is also committed to a net-zero target by 2050.
