However, the company demonstrates a strong commitment to climate action through its Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitments, which are cascaded from its parent company, Sofaco Design ApS.

Sofaco Design ApS has set ambitious near-term targets validated by SBTi, aiming to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 50.4% by FY2032 from a FY2022 base year. This target is consistent with the reductions required to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Furthermore, Sofaco Design ApS commits that 70% of its suppliers by emissions, covering purchased goods and services, and upstream transportation and distribution, will have science-based targets by FY2029. This underscores a comprehensive approach to decarbonisation across its value chain. The target boundary for these reductions includes land-related emissions and removals from bioenergy feedstocks. Sofaco Design ApS has also committed to achieving Net Zero.
