SOHO China Limited has set Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved targets. The company commits to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2050. Additionally, SOHO China aims to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, use of sold products, and downstream leased assets by 42% within the same timeframe. The company also has an intensity target to reduce Scope 1, 2, and 3 in-use operational GHG emissions of owned and leased buildings by 61.4% per square meter by 2030 from a 2021 base year. Long-term targets include a 98.2% reduction in Scope 1, 2, and 3 in-use operational GHG emissions per square meter by 2050 from a 2021 base year, and a 90% reduction in absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services and fuel- and energy-related activities by 2050.
