Teleflex, a US-based health and social work services company, reported Scope 1 emissions of 16,256,000 kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions of 53,983,000 kg CO2e for 2024. In 2023, their total emissions were approximately 445,173,000 kg CO2e, comprising 16,126,000 kg CO2e for Scope 1, 58,329,000 kg CO2e for Scope 2, and 370,718,000 kg CO2e for Scope 3. The Scope 3 emissions for 2023 included 20,730,000 kg CO2e from business travel, 288,693,000 kg CO2e from purchased goods and services, 1,999,000 kg CO2e from waste generated in operations, and 59,296,000 kg CO2e from upstream transportation and distribution.

Teleflex has committed to ambitious climate targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). They aim to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across their value chain by 2050. As part of their near-term goals, Teleflex plans to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 54.6% by 2032, using a 2019 base year. Additionally, they are committed to reducing absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, upstream transportation and distribution, waste generated in operations, and business travel by 32.5% within the same timeframe. For the long term, Teleflex commits to reducing absolute Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions by 90% by 2050 from a 2019 base year.
