Turner & Townsend reported total carbon emissions of approximately 174,625 tonnes CO2e in 2024. This figure includes Scope 1 emissions of about 352 tonnes CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of approximately 3,604 tonnes CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of around 170,668 tonnes CO2e.

Looking back, in 2023, the company's total emissions were approximately 138,234 tonnes CO2e, comprising around 961 tonnes CO2e from Scope 1, about 4,789 tonnes CO2e from Scope 2, and approximately 132,484 tonnes CO2e from Scope 3. In 2022, total emissions stood at roughly 104,177 tonnes CO2e, with Scope 1 at about 970 tonnes CO2e, Scope 2 at approximately 3,697 tonnes CO2e, and Scope 3 at around 99,510 tonnes CO2e.

Turner & Townsend has set ambitious climate commitments. They aim for a 50% carbon reduction in both Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2030, using 2021 as the baseline.
