Vantage Data Centers, based in the US and operating within the Computer and related services industry, is committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions. For 2023, Vantage Data Centers reported Scope 1 emissions of approximately 4.4 million kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions of about 49.4 million kg CO2e. This marks an increase from 2022, when Scope 1 emissions were approximately 4.1 million kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions were about 17.8 million kg CO2e. In 2021, Scope 1 emissions were approximately 5.2 million kg CO2e, with Scope 2 emissions at roughly 8.3 million kg CO2e. The company has not disclosed Scope 3 emissions data for these years. Vantage Data Centers has set ambitious climate targets. It is committed to achieving net zero for operational (Scope 1 and 2) carbon emissions by 2030 across its global portfolio. Furthermore, the company aims to achieve net zero annual carbon emissions by 2040 or sooner, by neutralising any remaining emissions (Scope 1, 2, and 3) with offsets. They also aspire to reduce absolute emissions as close to zero as feasible by 2050, using high-quality carbon removal offsets for any residual emissions to maintain net zero status. Vantage Data Centers has also signed the Climate Pledge.
