In 2024, Klabin S.A. reported approximately 3.2 billion kg CO2e in Scope 3 emissions, reflecting its significant carbon footprint primarily from upstream activities. For the previous year, 2023, the company disclosed a total of approximately 720.8 million kg CO2e in Scope 1 emissions, about 4.5 million kg CO2e in Scope 2 emissions (market-based), and approximately 3.2 billion kg CO2e in Scope 3 emissions, which includes categories such as processing of sold products and purchased goods and services.
