VKR Holding, headquartered in Denmark, reported a total of approximately 2.20 billion kg CO2e in emissions for 2025. This figure encompasses Scope 1, Scope 2 (market-based), and Scope 3 emissions. In 2025, Scope 1 emissions were approximately 29.53 million kg CO2e, while Scope 2 emissions, using the market-based approach, totalled about 4.25 million kg CO2e. Scope 3 emissions accounted for the largest portion, at approximately 2.17 billion kg CO2e. For 2024, VKR Holding's total emissions were approximately 2.31 billion kg CO2e. VKR Holding has set several climate commitments. The VELUX Group aims for a 100% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, compared to a 2020 baseline. Additionally, the DOVISTA Group is committed to decreasing Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42% by 2030, relative to a 2021 base year. A long-term commitment is for the Group to reduce and remove the CO2 equivalent of its historical carbon emissions since its founding in 1941 by 2041. Further initiatives include a 30% reduction in business-related air travel by 2030. There is also a target for a 50% reduction in average non-utilised waste per produced window by 2030.
