Free help in Japan
Government emission factors, step-by-step handbooks, subsidised energy audits and low-interest green loans for small and mid-sized suppliers in Japan. Most are in Japanese and free.
Resources are in Japanese; the renewable electricity guidebook is linked in English and also has a Japanese edition.
Every link is public and listed on the same terms. Schemes open and close; a “Closed for now” tag means we have checked and it is not taking applications. Know a resource we should add? Email suppliersupport@ditchcarbon.com.
Common questions

How does a small business in Japan set a reduction target?
The Ministry of the Environment's SME handbook sets out a step-by-step method for a reduction plan and target: 中小規模事業者のための脱炭素経営ハンドブック (SME handbook for setting and meeting a reduction target). Free, in Japanese.
