SBTi science-based targets & net-zero dataset
Standardised data on corporate science-based targets and net-zero commitments for 1.3M+ companies — ready to analyse alongside Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions across your supply chain.

What is the SBTi dataset?
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is the global benchmark for credible corporate climate action, defining how companies set greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets in line with climate science and the goals of the Paris Agreement. The DitchCarbon SBTi dataset turns that fragmented, frequently-changing public information into a single structured, machine-readable climate dataset you can query, join and report on.
Each record captures a company's near-term and long-term science-based target status, its target classification and target year, any net-zero commitment and net-zero year, whether it has joined the Business Ambition for 1.5°C campaign, and the organisation's sector and operating region. Because every company is matched to the DitchCarbon emissions database, you can analyse SBTi status directly alongside Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions data — connecting climate commitments to measured carbon performance.
It's designed for sustainability, procurement, ESG and financial-services teams who need reliable corporate climate data at scale: to map supplier decarbonisation progress, prioritise supplier engagement, support financed-emissions and portfolio analysis, and automate evidence collection for disclosures such as CSRD, CDP, TCFD and SEC filings.
