Advantech's latest reported emissions for 2024 include Scope 1 emissions of approximately 3,565,040 kg CO2e, Scope 2 market-based emissions of about 22,726,640 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of approximately 750,942,400 kg CO2e. For 2023, the company reported Scope 1 emissions of about 3,228,278 kg CO2e and Scope 2 market-based emissions of approximately 26,638,341 kg CO2e; Scope 3 data was not available for this year. In 2022, Advantech's Scope 1 emissions were approximately 3,371,186 kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions were about 31,459,824 kg CO2e.

Advantech has set several climate commitments and Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) aligned goals. The company aims to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the entire value chain by 2050, as well as carbon neutrality by 2050 for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.

Near-term SBTi targets, set with a 2022 base year, include:

• An absolute reduction of 42.0% in Scope 1 GHG emissions by 2030.
• An absolute reduction of 42.0% in Scope 2 GHG emissions by 2030.
• A 51.6% reduction in Scope 3 GHG emissions from the use of sold products per TWD value added by 2030.

Long-term SBTi targets, also with a 2022 base year, aim for:

• An absolute reduction of 90.0% in Scope 1 GHG emissions by 2050.
• An absolute reduction of 90.0% in Scope 2 GHG emissions by 2050.
• An absolute reduction of 90.0% in Scope 3 GHG emissions by 2050.
