Long-term targets include:

• Reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 90% by 2050 from a 2019 base year.
• Reducing absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 90% by 2050 from a 2019 base year.

Additionally, Applus+ has an internal target to achieve a 30% emission reduction of Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2024, using 2019 as the baseline year. The company's subsidiaries also have targets, such as Madrileña Red de Gas aiming to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 3% between 2021 and 2022.
