Best Concrete

As a UK-based "Other Construction Material Merchant Wholesaler", Best Concrete has not publicly disclosed its carbon emissions data. However, the company demonstrates climate commitment through its parent company, Siam City Cement Public Company Limited (SCCC Group).

SCCC Group has established several near-term intensity reduction targets:

• Scope 1 Emissions: The group aims to reduce its Scope 1 CO2 emissions to less than 530 kg net CO2 per tonne of cementitious materials by 2030, representing a 30% reduction from a 1990 baseline and a 15% reduction from a 2020 baseline. Additionally, SCCC Group intends to reduce its clinker factor to 65% by 2030, down from a 74% baseline in 2020.
• Scope 2 Emissions: SCCC Group is targeting a reduction in Scope 2 CO2 emissions to less than 37 kg net CO2 per tonne of cementitious materials. This objective involves a 10% reduction in specific electricity consumption compared to 2020 and ensuring that at least 20% of its electricity consumption comes from alternative energy sources by 2030.
