Bonava, a real estate services company headquartered in Sweden, has outlined significant commitments to reducing its carbon emissions. For the 2024 reporting year, Bonava reported total global Scope 1 emissions of approximately 2,228,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of approximately 2,900,000 kg CO2e (market-based), and substantial Scope 3 emissions totalling approximately 200,000,000 kg CO2e. This results in a total calculated emission of approximately 205,128,000 kg CO2e for 2024. In 2023, Bonava's total emissions were approximately 651,571,000 kg CO2e, with Scope 1 at approximately 3,569,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 at approximately 3,570,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at approximately 641,402,000 kg CO2e. Looking back, in 2022, the company's total emissions were approximately 885,616,000 kg CO2e, comprising Scope 1 emissions of approximately 3,245,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of approximately 5,052,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of approximately 877,171,000 kg CO2e. Bonava has established robust climate targets.
