Vasakronan, a Lessors of Other Real Estate Property company based in Sweden, reported total emissions of 22,016,000 kg CO2e in 2025. This figure comprises 75,000 kg CO2e from Scope 1 emissions, 493,000 kg CO2e from Scope 2 market-based emissions, and 21,348,000 kg CO2e from Scope 3 emissions. Notably, key contributors to Scope 3 emissions in 2025 included 5,707,000 kg CO2e from capital goods and 13,867,000 kg CO2e from downstream leased assets.

In comparison, Vasakronan's total emissions in 2024 were 33,379,000 kg CO2e, including 506,000 kg CO2e (Scope 1), 1,717,000 kg CO2e (Scope 2 market-based), and 31,156,000 kg CO2e (Scope 3). Vasakronan has set several ambitious climate commitments. Vasakronan also aims for climate neutrality by 2030, requiring full compensation of remaining emissions with "carbon removal certificate" compensation.
