Deloitte Global, an Other Management Consulting Services firm headquartered in GB, reported total Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions of approximately 1.76 billion kg CO2e in 2025. This includes about 30.4 million kg CO2e from Scope 1 (direct emissions), 13.2 million kg CO2e from Scope 2 (indirect emissions from purchased energy, market-based), and 1.72 billion kg CO2e from Scope 3 (value chain emissions). Key contributors to Scope 3 emissions were purchased goods and services (949.5 million kg CO2e), business travel (547.3 million kg CO2e), and employee commuting (220.4 million kg CO2e).

Looking back, Deloitte Global's total emissions were approximately 1.70 billion kg CO2e in 2024, and 1.61 billion kg CO2e in 2023.

Deloitte Global has set ambitious climate commitments validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), cascaded from Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited. The company aims to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by FY2040.

Near-term targets include:

• An absolute reduction of Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 70% by 2030, using a 2019 base year. Deloitte Global has already exceeded its 2030 SBTi goal for Scope 1 and 2 emissions, with a 79% reduction reported in FY2023 compared to the base year.
• A 55% reduction in Scope 3 GHG emissions from business travel per full-time equivalent (FTE) by 2030, also from a 2019 base year.
• Ensuring that 67% of its suppliers, by emissions, covering purchased goods and services and business travel, set science-based targets by 2025.

Long-term targets, also validated by SBTi, commit Deloitte Global to:

• An absolute reduction of Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 90% by FY2040 from a FY2019 base year.
• An absolute reduction of Scope 3 GHG emissions by 90% within the same timeframe (by FY2040 from a FY2019 base year).
