Deloitte Global, a leader in other management consulting services headquartered in Great Britain, has reported its carbon emissions for several years. For the reporting year 2025, the company's total emissions were approximately 1.76 billion kg CO2e. This figure comprises approximately 30.4 million kg CO2e for Scope 1, around 13.2 million kg CO2e for Scope 2 (market-based), and approximately 1.72 billion kg CO2e for Scope 3.

In 2024, total emissions were approximately 1.70 billion kg CO2e, with Scope 1 at about 33.6 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 (market-based) at approximately 16.9 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at around 1.65 billion kg CO2e. For 2023, total emissions stood at approximately 1.61 billion kg CO2e, including about 37 million kg CO2e for Scope 1, approximately 19 million kg CO2e for Scope 2 (market-based), and nearly 1.55 billion kg CO2e for Scope 3. In 2022, total emissions were approximately 919 million kg CO2e, with Scope 1 at about 42.7 million kg CO2e and Scope 2 (market-based) at approximately 22 million kg CO2e. Scope 3 emissions for 2022 were around 678 million kg CO2e, in addition to business travel emissions of approximately 176 million kg CO2e.

Deloitte is committed to significant emission reductions, aligning with Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) goals. The company aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 70% by 2030, using a 2019 base year. As of FY2023, Scope 1 and 2 emissions had already decreased by approximately 79% compared to the base year, exceeding the 2030 SBTi target. Further long-term commitments include achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by FY2040, with a target to reduce absolute Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions by 90% by FY2040. Deloitte is also working with its suppliers to encourage the adoption of science-based targets, aiming for 67% of its suppliers by emissions to have set these targets by FY2025. This includes suppliers involved in purchasing goods and services, as well as business travel.
