Exyte's total reported carbon emissions for 2023 were approximately 5.27 million tonnes CO2e. This includes Scope 1 emissions of 27,455 tonnes CO2e, market-based Scope 2 emissions of 10,024 tonnes CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of approximately 5.23 million tonnes CO2e. Key categories within Scope 3 include purchased goods and services (approximately 3.64 million tonnes CO2e), downstream transportation and distribution (919,468 tonnes CO2e), and use of sold products (369,425 tonnes CO2e).

Exyte GmbH, based in Germany and operating in Other Business Services, has set Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved targets. Exyte GmbH commits to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2040. For near-term targets, Exyte GmbH aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2023 base year. Additionally, it commits to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 37.5% by 2034 from a 2023 base year. Long-term targets include a 90% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 2035 from a 2023 base year, and a 90% reduction in absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 2040 from a 2023 base year. These targets apply to the entire value chain, with the target boundary including land-related emissions and removals from bioenergy feedstocks.
