Florence Group, a Footwear Manufacturing company based in Italy, reported its 2024 carbon emissions as approximately 320.7 million kg CO2e. This total comprises Scope 1 emissions of 4.1 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 market-based emissions of 4.01 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of 312.57 million kg CO2e. The largest contributor to Scope 3 emissions was purchased goods and services, accounting for 293.12 million kg CO2e.

In 2023, the company's total emissions were approximately 311.91 million kg CO2e, with Scope 1 emissions at 3.07 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 market-based emissions at 4.52 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions at 304.32 million kg CO2e. For 2022, Florence Group reported Scope 1 emissions of 2.49 million kg CO2e and Scope 2 market-based emissions of 3.68 million kg CO2e. Florence Group has set ambitious climate commitments, with near-term Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) goals. The company commits to reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 54.6% by 2033, against a 2023 base year. Additionally, Florence Group aims to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, upstream transportation and distribution, and employee commuting by 32.5% within the same timeframe. The company also commits to reducing absolute Scope 3 FLAG GHG emissions by 39.4% by 2033 from a 2023 base year and achieving no deforestation across its primary deforestation-linked commodities by 31 December 2025. Furthermore, Florence Group intends to reduce its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions to near zero by the middle of this decade (2023-2025) and is pursuing a gradual decarbonisation process by securing renewable energy supply contracts for all group companies.
