Gränges, an Aluminium and aluminium products company headquartered in Sweden, reported total emissions of approximately 4.19 billion kg CO2e in 2025. This includes Scope 1 emissions of 266 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions (market-based) of 174 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of approximately 3.75 billion kg CO2e. Key categories within Scope 3 were purchased goods and services at approximately 3.61 billion kg CO2e, and fuel- and energy related activities at 60 million kg CO2e.

Looking back, in 2024, the company's total emissions were approximately 3.82 billion kg CO2e. In 2023, total emissions were higher at approximately 7.80 billion kg CO2e. The 2022 total emissions stood at approximately 4.35 billion kg CO2e. In 2021, total emissions were approximately 7.80 billion kg CO2e, while in 2020, they were approximately 3.51 billion kg CO2e.

Gränges has set ambitious climate commitments. The company aims to achieve net-zero carbon emissions across its value chain by 2040, with both its 2030 and 2040 goals validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as being in line with the Paris Agreement.
