For 2025, Hemso Fastighets reported Scope 1 emissions of approximately 304,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions (market-based) of about 7,571,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of approximately 69,485,000 kg CO2e.

Looking back, the company's 2024 emissions included around 576,000 kg CO2e for Scope 1, approximately 8,158,000 kg CO2e for Scope 2 (market-based), and about 55,539,000 kg CO2e for Scope 3. In 2023, Scope 1 emissions were approximately 1,084,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 (market-based) were about 9,176,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions totalled around 75,573,000 kg CO2e.

Hemso Fastighets has set Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved reduction targets. The company commits to reducing its Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030, using 2022 as a base year. Furthermore, Hemso Fastighets aims to reach net-zero emissions by 2040, committing to a 100% reduction in its Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions by 2040 from a 2022 base year. The company also states its commitment to measure and reduce its Scope 3 emissions.
