IGT, a US-based Computer and related services company, reported total emissions of approximately 433,240,680 kg CO2e in 2025. This includes Scope 1 emissions of around 24,619,830 kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of about 20,279,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of approximately 388,342,020 kg CO2e.

Looking back, IGT's total emissions were approximately 340,663,870 kg CO2e in 2024, comprising Scope 1 emissions of about 23,679,980 kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of around 17,408,360 kg CO2e (market-based), and Scope 3 emissions of approximately 299,575,530 kg CO2e. In 2023, total Scope 1 emissions were roughly 29,145,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions (market-based) were around 26,129,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions were approximately 2,102,982,000 kg CO2e.

IGT has set ambitious climate commitments. The company is committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2050. As part of its near-term targets, IGT aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 50% by 2030, using a 2019 base year. Additionally, the company plans to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 30% within the same timeframe. For its long-term targets, IGT commits to reducing absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 90% by 2050, from a 2019 base year, and absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 90% within the same period. These targets are validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and are consistent with reductions required to keep warming to 1.5°C. IGT became a BA1.5 member on 10 January 2022.
