Infosys, headquartered in India and operating in the Computer and related services industry, reported global Scope 1 emissions of 11,483,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of 34,351,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of 207,374,000 kg CO2e for 2026.

Infosys has established several climate commitments:

• Carbon Neutrality: Infosys has been carbon-neutral and aims to remain carbon-neutral annually until at least 2030.
• Near-Term Absolute Reduction Targets:
  • Reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 75% against a Business-As-Usual (BAU) scenario by 2030, with a 2020 baseline.
  • Reduce absolute Scope 3 emissions by 30% against a 2020 baseline year by 2030.
• Long-Term Absolute Reduction Targets:
  • Achieve at least a 60.8% reduction in its absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2050, against a 2013 baseline.
  • An additional reduction target for absolute Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions of 37.5% by 2035 against the 2020 baseline.
• Net-Zero Target: Infosys is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2040, as part of The Climate Pledge in partnership with Amazon and Global Optimism.

The company's Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitments for Infosys Limited include:

• Reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 12.5% by FY2025 and 37.5% by FY2035 from a FY2020 base year.
• Reducing absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 12.5% by FY2025 and 37.5% by FY2035 from a FY2020 base year.
• Separately, Infocus Technologies Private Limited (an SME, within the Infosys corporate family) commits to reduce Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year and to measure and reduce its Scope 3 emissions.
