Infosys, a Computer and related services company headquartered in India, reported global Scope 1 emissions of 11,483,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of 34,351,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of 207,374,000 kg CO2e for 2026.

Infosys has committed to several climate initiatives, including:

• Carbon Neutrality: Infosys is already carbon neutral and aims to remain so annually until fiscal 2030.
• Net-Zero Target: The company is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2040, as part of The Climate Pledge in partnership with Amazon and Global Optimism.
• Near-term Absolute Reduction Targets (SBTi): Infosys Limited has set Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved targets:
  • To reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 12.5% by FY2025 and 37.5% by FY2035, against a FY2020 base year.
  • To reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 12.5% by FY2025 and 37.5% by FY2035, against a FY2020 base year. These targets are classified as "Well-below 2°C".
• Near-term Absolute Reduction Targets (Company-wide): Infosys aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 75% against a Business-As-Usual (BAU) scenario by 2030, with a 2020 baseline. They also aim to reduce absolute Scope 3 emissions by 30% against a 2020 baseline year by fiscal 2030.
• Long-term Absolute Reduction Targets (Company-wide): Infosys also has a target to achieve a 37.5% reduction in absolute Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions by 2035 against the 2020 baseline.
• Long-term Absolute Reduction Targets (from Infosys ESG Databook 2021-22): Infosys aims for at least a 60.8% reduction in its absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2050 from a 2013 base year.
• Intensity Reduction (India Operations): In fiscal 2018, the company reported a 3.03% reduction in carbon intensity (Scope 1 and Scope 2) for its India operations compared to fiscal 2017.
