Infosys, a computer and related services company headquartered in India, has demonstrated a commitment to reducing its environmental impact. For the financial year 2026 (reporting year 2026), the company reported total emissions of approximately 253.2 million kg CO2e, comprising Scope 1 emissions of about 11.5 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of approximately 34.4 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of around 207.4 million kg CO2e. In the previous year, FY2025, total emissions were approximately 255.5 million kg CO2e, with Scope 1 at about 8.7 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 at approximately 38.6 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at about 208.7 million kg CO2e.

Infosys has also been recognised for its near-term targets by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), committing to a 12.5% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by FY2025 and a 37.5% reduction by FY2035 from a FY2020 base year. Similarly, its Scope 3 emissions are targeted for a 12.5% reduction by FY2025 and a 37.5% reduction by FY2035, also from a FY2020 baseline. The company is a signatory to The Climate Pledge, committing to net zero by 2040.
