Nabtesco Corporation, headquartered in Japan, has reported significant greenhouse gas emissions. For the fiscal year 2024, the company's total emissions were approximately 1.11 billion kg CO2e. This total encompasses Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Scope 1 emissions amounted to about 4.17 million kg CO2e, while Scope 2 emissions were approximately 34.76 million kg CO2e. Scope 3 emissions constituted the largest portion, totalling around 1.07 billion kg CO2e, with purchased goods and services, and upstream transportation and distribution being the most significant contributors. Nabtesco also aims for a 63% reduction in global CO2 emissions by fiscal year 2030 and 100% by fiscal year 2050, compared to fiscal year 2015 levels.
