NCC AB (publ), a Swedish construction company, reported total Scope 1 and 2 emissions of approximately 117,000,000 kg CO2e for 2025 and 190,000,000 kg CO2e for 2024. For 2023, total emissions were about 515,000,000 kg CO2e, comprising approximately 126,000,000 kg CO2e from Scope 1, 4,000,000 kg CO2e from Scope 2 (market-based), and 385,000,000 kg CO2e from Scope 3.

NCC has committed to near-term net-zero targets for Scope 1 and Scope 2, aiming to contribute to lower climate impact throughout its value chain between 2023 and 2030. The company also has intensity reduction targets for its emissions. NCC aims to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 60% by 2030, using 2015 as a base year, measured as tonnes of CO2e per MSEK of sales. Additionally, NCC targets a 50% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by 2030 (from a 2015 base year) from concrete, steel, asphalt, and transportation, measured as kg CO2e per purchased volume. NCC AB (publ) has also committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its near-term and net-zero targets.
