Odp reported total carbon emissions of approximately 5.2 billion kg CO2e in 2024. This figure includes about 38.7 million kg CO2e from Scope 1 emissions, 132.8 million kg CO2e from Scope 2 market-based emissions, and 5 billion kg CO2e from Scope 3 emissions. Their Scope 3 emissions are primarily driven by the use of sold products (approximately 2.3 billion kg CO2e) and purchased goods and services (approximately 1.08 billion kg CO2e).

The ODP Corporation, from which Odp inherits its climate commitments, has set Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved near-term targets. These targets include a commitment to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 46.2% by 2030, using a 2019 base year. Additionally, The ODP Corporation aims for 75% of its suppliers, by spend covering purchased goods and services, to have science-based targets by 2027. They further commit to reduce Scope 3 GHG emissions from downstream transportation and distribution and the use of sold products by 55% per USD value added by 2030, also from a 2019 base year. The ODP Corporation also aims to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 for Scope 1 and 2.
