The company also aims to reduce its overall greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030 from a 2021 baseline. Specifically, it targets a 25% reduction in Scope 1 emissions and a 25% reduction in Scope 2 emissions by 2030, also against a 2021 baseline. Additionally, the company has committed to reducing its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 30% from a 2020 baseline by 2030. From 2015 to 2022, Pactiv Evergreen reduced its Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 21%.
