In 2023, the company reported total emissions of approximately 62.8 billion kg CO2e, comprising Scope 1 emissions of about 37.8 billion kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions of approximately 20.5 billion kg CO2e, with Scope 3 emissions at around 4.5 billion kg CO2e. The previous year, 2022, saw significantly higher total emissions of approximately 1.66 trillion kg CO2e, with Scope 1 at about 1.36 trillion kg CO2e, Scope 2 at approximately 286 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at about 1.2 trillion kg CO2e. In 2021, total emissions were around 2.99 trillion kg CO2e, with Scope 1 at about 1.18 trillion kg CO2e, Scope 2 at approximately 30 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at about 2.99 trillion kg CO2e.

DSN Group has set ambitious climate commitments, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2040 and striving towards a net-zero emission transition by 2050. They have also revised their total GHG emission reduction target across scopes 1, 2, and 3, increasing it from 29% to 44% by 2030, based on the implementation of their Climate Action Plan. The company monitors hot spots in its plantation areas, detecting 176 in company-owned areas and 158 in plasma plantation areas in 2023.
