TINEXTA, headquartered in Italy, has established robust climate commitments and disclosed its greenhouse gas emissions for recent years. For 2024, the company reported a total of approximately 36.1 million kg CO2e across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. This included Scope 1 emissions of about 2.04 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions (market-based) of approximately 1.03 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions totalling around 32.7 million kg CO2e. Significant contributors to TINEXTA's Scope 3 emissions in 2024 included purchased goods and services, estimated at 25.4 million kg CO2e, and employee commute, at 3.53 million kg CO2e. In 2023, TINEXTA reported Scope 1 emissions of approximately 1.67 million kg CO2e and Scope 2 emissions (location-based) of about 1.03 million kg CO2e, resulting in a combined total of approximately 2.70 million kg CO2e for these scopes. Scope 3 emissions were not fully disclosed for this year. For 2022, Scope 1 emissions were reported as approximately 687,000 kg CO2e. TINEXTA is actively pursuing emissions reductions. The company's 2024-2025 Sustainability Plan includes targets for 2025, aiming for 30% of its company car fleet to be hybrid-electric and to acquire 50% of its electricity from renewable sources. Further strengthening its climate strategy, InfoCert, a part of TINEXTA, has set Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved near-term targets. These commitments, cascaded from its parent company Tinexta S.p.A., include a 42.0% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 from a 2024 base year. Additionally, InfoCert aims to reduce absolute Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 25.0% within the same timeframe. These targets are aligned with keeping global warming to 1.5°C.
