Recticel, a Belgian Polystyrene Foam Product Manufacturing company, reported approximately 629.7 million kg CO2e in total greenhouse gas emissions for 2025. This includes about 3.5 million kg CO2e from Scope 1 emissions, approximately 1.9 million kg CO2e from market-based Scope 2 emissions, and roughly 624.2 million kg CO2e from Scope 3 emissions.

For 2024, Recticel's total emissions were about 607.5 million kg CO2e, with Scope 1 at approximately 4.5 million kg CO2e, market-based Scope 2 at around 3.1 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at roughly 599.9 million kg CO2e. In 2023, total emissions stood at approximately 825.8 million kg CO2e, comprising about 4.7 million kg CO2e in Scope 1, approximately 3.9 million kg CO2e in market-based Scope 2, and roughly 816.8 million kg CO2e in Scope 3.

Recticel has set ambitious climate commitments, validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The company commits to reaching net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its entire value chain by 2050, from a 2021 base year. For the near-term, Recticel aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 90% by 2030, also from a 2021 base year. Additionally, Recticel commits to reducing absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 25% within the same timeframe. Long-term targets include maintaining at least 90% absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emission reductions from 2030 through 2050 and reducing absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 90% by 2050, both from a 2021 base year.
