Skretting

Skretting, a Dutch-headquartered company in the fish and other fishing products industry, reported approximately 13,580 tonnes CO2e in total emissions for 2025. This included about 49 tonnes CO2e from Scope 2 and 134 tonnes CO2e from Scope 3 business travel. For 2024, total emissions were around 9,141 tonnes CO2e, with approximately 48 tonnes CO2e from Scope 2 and 109 tonnes CO2e from Scope 3 business travel.

In 2023, Skretting's total emissions were approximately 4,503,000 tonnes CO2e, including about 4,274,000 tonnes CO2e from Scope 3 and 229,000 tonnes CO2e from Scope 1 and 2. Emissions in 2022 were around 5,166,000 tonnes CO2e, with Scope 3 accounting for approximately 4,950,000 tonnes CO2e and Scope 1 and 2 for about 216,000 tonnes CO2e. In 2021, total emissions were approximately 5,404,000 tonnes CO2e, comprising around 5,194,000 tonnes CO2e from Scope 3 and 210,000 tonnes CO2e from Scope 1 and 2.

For 2020, total emissions were about 5,045,000 tonnes CO2e, with Scope 3 at approximately 4,849,000 tonnes CO2e and Scope 1 and 2 at about 196,000 tonnes CO2e. In 2019, total emissions were around 5,065,000 tonnes CO2e, including approximately 4,848,000 tonnes CO2e from Scope 3 and 217,000 tonnes CO2e from Scope 1 and 2. The 2018 total emissions were about 5,026,000 tonnes CO2e, with Scope 3 contributing approximately 4,806,000 tonnes CO2e and Scope 1 and 2 around 220,000 tonnes CO2e.

Skretting has set an ambitious target to achieve a 30% reduction in its Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, using a 2018 baseline. This commitment also involves a continuous yearly reduction of 2% in energy consumption per tonne.
