Teleperformance, a telemarketing and contact centre company headquartered in France, reported a total of approximately 602.8 million kg CO2e in emissions for 2024. This figure encompasses Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
In the same year, Scope 1 emissions amounted to about 23.2 million kg CO2e, with stationary combustion contributing approximately 6.3 million kg CO2e, fugitive emissions around 14.6 million kg CO2e, and mobile combustion roughly 2.2 million kg CO2e. They also aim to reduce Scope 3 emissions related to purchased goods and services and employee commuting by 38.3% per FTE by 2026, also from a 2019 baseline.
Furthermore, Teleperformance has joined The Climate Pledge, committing to achieving net-zero carbon emissions across its business by 2040. This long-term goal aligns with their Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validated objectives. They are also working towards reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 56.7% by 2030 and absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 27.5% by 2030, both from a 2019 baseline, consistent with a 1.5°C trajectory.
