Key contributors to their Scope 3 emissions include purchased goods and services (approximately 2.66 million kg CO2e), business travel (around 1.48 million kg CO2e), and employee commute (approximately 722,000 kg CO2e).

In 2023, Trustpilot's total emissions were approximately 5.48 million kg CO2e, with Scope 1 emissions at about 279,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 at approximately 303,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at around 4.90 million kg CO2e.

Trustpilot has established significant climate targets aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). They have committed to a near-term goal of reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 42% by 2030, using 2023 as their base year. Additionally, they aim to reduce Scope 3 GHG emissions by 51.6% per million USD of gross profit within the same timeframe. For the long term, Trustpilot has a net-zero commitment, aiming to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 90% and Scope 3 emissions by 90% by 2050. The company is actively working towards validating these targets with the SBTi.
