As a subsidiary of 2 Sisters Food Group Limited, 2 Sisters Food's climate commitments are inherited from its parent company. 2 Sisters Food Group UK has committed to reaching net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by FY2035.

In the near term, 2 Sisters Food Group UK aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42.0% by FY2030 from a FY2023 base year. Concurrently, they plan to increase active annual sourcing of renewable electricity from 0.2% in FY2023 to 100.0% by FY2030. They also commit to a 42.0% absolute reduction in Scope 3 GHG emissions by FY2030 from a FY2023 base year.

For agriculture, forestry, and land use (FLAG) emissions, 2 Sisters Food Group UK targets a 30.3% absolute reduction in Scope 3 FLAG GHG emissions by FY2030 from a FY2023 base year and a commitment to no deforestation across primary deforestation-linked commodities by December 2025.

Looking long-term, 2 Sisters Food Group UK aims for a 90% absolute reduction in Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions by FY2035 from a FY2023 base year. For Scope 3 FLAG GHG emissions, a 72.0% absolute reduction is targeted by FY2035 from a FY2023 base year. These targets, which include FLAG emissions and removals, are validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as consistent with a 1.5°C global warming scenario.
