Arrow ECS, operating in the computer and related services sector from its US headquarters, reported a total of approximately 16.2 billion kg CO2e in emissions for 2025. This figure encompasses Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, with Scope 3 contributing the largest portion at approximately 16.2 billion kg CO2e. For 2024, total emissions were approximately 9.3 billion kg CO2e, and in 2023, the total was approximately 8.8 billion kg CO2e. Scope 1 emissions for 2023 were around 9.2 million kg CO2e, while Scope 2 market-based emissions were about 20.5 million kg CO2e. Arrow ECS has established climate commitments, including a near-term goal to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 10% across all its locations and fleet by the end of 2025, based on a 2022 baseline. Furthermore, the company has set a long-term goal of achieving Net Zero by 2050. Arrow Electronics, Inc., which Arrow ECS is part of, has committed to reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2023 base year. This aligns with a 1.5°C warming scenario. The company also aims to ensure that by 2030, 85% of its suppliers by spend (covering purchased goods and services), 60% of its suppliers by spend (covering upstream transportation and distribution), and 30% of its customers by revenue (covering use of sold products) will have science-based targets.
