Colt Group Holdings, a UK-based Wired Telecommunications Carrier, reported its latest Scope 1 emissions for 2025 as 3,148,000 kg CO2e. For 2024, its Scope 1 emissions were 3,806,000 kg CO2e, following 4,303,000 kg CO2e in 2023.

In 2022, Colt Group Holdings disclosed a total of 332,241,000 kg CO2e in greenhouse gas emissions. This included Scope 1 emissions of 3,950,000 kg CO2e, market-based Scope 2 emissions of 16,648,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of 311,643,000 kg CO2e. In 2020, total emissions were 606,696,000 kg CO2e, comprising Scope 1 emissions of 4,297,000 kg CO2e, market-based Scope 2 emissions of 26,552,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of 575,846,000 kg CO2e. Scope 1 emissions for 2019 were 6,658,000 kg CO2e.

Colt Group Holdings has set ambitious climate commitments. The company aims for a near-term absolute reduction of Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 47% by 2030 from a 2019 base year, aligning with a 1.5°C warming pathway. Additionally, they commit to a 28% absolute reduction in Scope 3 GHG emissions by 2030 from a 2019 base year. Colt Group Holdings also targets 100% renewable electricity procurement for all Scope 2 electricity globally by 2030, achieved through acquiring Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). For the long term, Colt Group Holdings has a net-zero target to reduce absolute Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions by 90% by 2045 from a 2019 base year, committing to reach net-zero GHG emissions across its value chain by 2045.
