In 2022, Colt Group Holdings' total reported emissions were approximately 332,241,000 kg CO2e. This included Scope 1 emissions of 3,950,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 market-based emissions of 16,648,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of 311,643,000 kg CO2e. Near-term, Colt Group Holdings aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 47% by 2030 from a 2019 baseline, a target aligned with limiting global warming to 1.5°C. Additionally, it commits to a 28% absolute reduction in Scope 3 GHG emissions within the same timeframe (from a 2019 baseline), which is consistent with a well-below 2°C trajectory. A key initiative for Scope 2 is to achieve 100% renewable electricity procurement for all sites globally by 2030 through Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs).

For the long term, Colt Group Holdings is committed to a 90% absolute reduction in Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions by 2045, also from a 2019 baseline.
