Element Solutions, a US-headquartered company in the Chemicals nec industry, reported its carbon emissions for 2025 as approximately 549,210,000 kg CO2e. This includes Scope 1 emissions of 11,470,000 kg CO2e, market-based Scope 2 emissions of 12,210,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of 505,430,000 kg CO2e. For 2024, the total carbon emissions were approximately 669,905,000 kg CO2e, comprising 11,115,000 kg CO2e in Scope 1, 15,640,000 kg CO2e in market-based Scope 2, and 643,250,000 kg CO2e in Scope 3 emissions.

Element Solutions has set ambitious climate commitments. It aims to reduce its combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 25% per metric tonne of production by 2030, from a 2020 base year of 0.162 MT CO2e/MT of production. Furthermore, the company has Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved targets to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 46% by 2030 from a 2019 base year. Element Solutions also commits to measure and reduce its Scope 3 emissions.
