In 2022, Kiloutou undertook actions at its Reims production site to reduce gas consumption, achieving a 35% reduction in the site's gas consumption by optimising line equipment and installing consumption meters. Kiloutou is actively developing a range of electric or hybrid equipment, including telescopic handlers, mini-excavators, and dump trucks suitable for urban Low Emission Zones. They are also exploring electric retrofits for thermal telescopic handlers in partnership with Manitou Group, and implementing other energy solutions such as battery packs combined with biofuel generators. The company also focuses on circular economy principles, promoting waste management, sorting, and recycling of materials from construction sites.
