Nolato

Nolato, a Swedish company in the "All Other Plastics Product Manufacturing" industry, reported total greenhouse gas emissions of approximately 298.9 million kg CO2e in 2025. This includes Scope 1 emissions of 1.7 million kg CO2e, market-based Scope 2 emissions of 64,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of approximately 297.1 million kg CO2e.

Looking at previous years, Nolato's total emissions were about 340.1 million kg CO2e in 2024, approximately 339.4 million kg CO2e in 2023, and around 392.1 million kg CO2e in 2022.

Nolato has made significant climate commitments, with its near-term and long-term Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) targets having been validated. The company commits to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2045. For near-term reductions, Nolato aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 70% by 2030 from a 2021 base year. Additionally, they commit to reducing absolute upstream Scope 3 emissions by 25% within the same timeframe, covering categories such as purchased goods and services, capital goods, and upstream transportation and distribution. Long-term targets include a 95% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 2045 from a 2021 base year, and a 90% reduction in absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions within the same timeframe.

Historically, Nolato had a target to cut carbon dioxide emissions from energy consumption (Scope 1 and 2) by 20% by 2020 compared with the average for 2011–2012. More recently, the company launched a new target to achieve an 80% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2025, relative to the 2011-2012 average.
