Primax Electronics, headquartered in Taiwan, has established Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved near-term and long-term climate commitments.

As of 2024, Primax Electronics reported market-based Scope 1 and 2 emissions of about 24,254,800 kg CO2e. Their Scope 1 emissions were 6,903,500 kg CO2e, and market-based Scope 2 emissions were 28,487,900 kg CO2e. Total Scope 3 emissions in 2024 were approximately 2,129,887,100 kg CO2e. This includes significant contributions from use of sold products (1,198,959,900 kg CO2e) and purchased goods and services (912,381,000 kg CO2e).

Primax Electronics is committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2050, a target validated by the SBTi. Their near-term SBTi commitments include reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030, from a 2023 base year. They also aim to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 25% within the same timeframe. For their long-term SBTi targets, Primax Electronics commits to reducing absolute Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions by 90% by 2050, from a 2023 base year.

Historically, Primax Group had an earlier intensity target to reduce GHG emission intensity (CO2e/revenue) by 25% by 2020, compared to a 2013 base year for both Scope 1 and Scope 2.
