Sagemcom, a French company in the Computer and related services sector, reported its carbon emissions for 2025 as approximately 2.62 billion kg CO2e.

Looking at individual scopes for 2025:

• Scope 1 emissions (direct emissions from owned or controlled sources) were approximately 1.06 million kg CO2e.
• Scope 2 emissions (indirect emissions from the generation of purchased energy) were about 7.12 million kg CO2e (market-based).
• Scope 3 emissions (all other indirect emissions in the value chain) were approximately 2.61 billion kg CO2e. Key categories within Scope 3 included Use of Sold Products at around 2.34 billion kg CO2e, and Purchased Goods and Services at approximately 549.58 million kg CO2e.

For 2024, Sagemcom's total reported emissions were about 2.86 billion kg CO2e. In 2023, total reported emissions were approximately 3.20 billion kg CO2e.

Sagemcom has set ambitious climate commitments. The company is committed to Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) near-term and long-term targets, with a net-zero commitment.

• Near-term targets (from a 2019 base year):
  • A 47% absolute reduction in Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 2030.
  • A 31% absolute reduction in Scope 3 GHG emissions by 2030.
• Sagemcom also aims to increase annual sourcing of renewable electricity from 24% in 2019 to 100% by 2030.

The company's absolute reduction targets for Scope 3 emissions, including both upstream and downstream categories, also include a 31% reduction between 2023 and 2030.
