ServiceNow, a US-based Software Publisher, reported total emissions of approximately 320,480,000 kg CO2e in 2025. This includes about 2,485,000 kg CO2e from Scope 1 emissions, around 901,000 kg CO2e from Scope 2 market-based emissions, and approximately 317,094,000 kg CO2e from Scope 3 emissions.

In 2024, their total emissions were about 302,813,000 kg CO2e, with Scope 1 at roughly 3,063,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 market-based at around 790,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at about 299,704,000 kg CO2e. Looking back to 2023, total emissions were approximately 295,138,000 kg CO2e, comprising around 2,740,000 kg CO2e from Scope 1, about 712,000 kg CO2e from Scope 2 market-based, and roughly 291,688,000 kg CO2e from Scope 3.

ServiceNow has committed to ambitious climate targets. The company aims to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. They also have an approved Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) target to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 70% by 2026 from a 2019 base year. Additionally, ServiceNow Inc. commits to reduce Scope 3 GHG emissions from business travel and employee commuting by 40% per unit of value added within the same timeframe, and that 65% of its suppliers by spend covering purchased goods and services and capital goods, will have science-based targets by 2026. This SBTi target is classified as consistent with reductions required to keep warming to 1.5°C.
