ServiceNow, a US-based Software Publisher, reported total carbon emissions of approximately 289.46 million kg CO2e in 2024. This includes about 2.88 million kg CO2e from Scope 1, approximately 790,000 kg CO2e (market-based) from Scope 2, and around 285.79 million kg CO2e from Scope 3 emissions. For comparison, in 2023, their total emissions were approximately 287.97 million kg CO2e.

ServiceNow is committed to significant climate action, with targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as consistent with keeping global warming to 1.5°C. The company aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 70% by 2026, using a 2019 baseline year. Additionally, ServiceNow plans to reduce Scope 3 GHG emissions from business travel and employee commuting by 40% per unit of value added within the same timeframe. They also commit that 65% of their suppliers by spend, covering purchased goods and services and capital goods, will have science-based targets by 2026. ServiceNow is further committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
