SoftwareONE is committed to significant carbon reduction initiatives. Through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), the company commits to reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030, using a 2024 base year. Additionally, it aims to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions from fuel- and energy-related activities, waste generated in operations, and business travel by 25% by 2030. The company also commits that 75% of its suppliers, covering purchased goods and services, capital goods, and upstream transportation and distribution, will have science-based targets by 2030. Other internal reduction targets include aiming for net zero for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 and a year-on-year reduction of 12.5% for Scope 1 and 2 emissions from 2024.
