TCC GROUP HOLDINGS, headquartered in Taiwan, reported Scope 1 emissions of approximately 32.8 billion kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions of about 1.43 billion kg CO2e (market-based), and Scope 3 emissions of roughly 9.3 billion kg CO2e in 2024. This follows 2023 emissions of approximately 20.9 billion kg CO2e for Scope 1, 852.3 million kg CO2e for Scope 2 (market-based), and 6.28 billion kg CO2e for Scope 3.

The company has set several climate commitments. It aims to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. Near-term targets include a 30% absolute reduction in Scope 1 emissions and a 25% absolute reduction in Scope 2 emissions by 2030, both from a 2020 baseline.

TCC GROUP HOLDINGS also has Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved targets. It commits to reduce gross Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 26.8% per tonne of cementitious materials by 2030, from a 2016 base year. Within this, Scope 1 GHG emissions are targeted for a 23.9% reduction per tonne of cementitious material, and Scope 2 GHG emissions for a 64.4% reduction per tonne of cementitious material within the same timeframe. These targets align with a 1.5°C pathway. The SBTi net-zero commitment was officially approved on 24 July 2024.
