This figure encompasses Scope 1 emissions totalling about 2.0 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions at approximately 21.5 million kg CO2e (market-based), and substantial Scope 3 emissions amounting to roughly 440.3 million kg CO2e. The primary contributor to Volex's Scope 3 emissions in FY2025 was purchased goods and services, accounting for approximately 414.8 million kg CO2e.

Volex has established ambitious climate commitments. The company aims to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its entire value chain by 2050, aligning with the Business Ambition for 1.5°C campaign. Further near-term targets include a 90% reduction in absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions from fuel- and energy-related activities, and waste generated in operations by FY2035.

In terms of Scope 1 and 2 emissions, Volex is committed to reducing them to net zero by 2035. The company also aims to maintain a minimum of 90% absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions reductions from FY2034 through FY2050, relative to a FY2025 baseline.
