This includes Scope 1 emissions of 762,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 market-based emissions of 1,821,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of 64,242,000 kg CO2e. For comparison, in 2024, their total emissions were approximately 199.8 million kg CO2e, comprising Scope 1 emissions of 731,000 kg CO2e, Scope 2 market-based emissions of 1,612,000 kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of 197,485,000 kg CO2e. In 2023, total emissions were approximately 111.0 million kg CO2e.

Playtech has set ambitious climate commitments, with Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validated targets. Playtech plc commits to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2040. Near-term, the company aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 50.4% by 2032 from a 2022 base year. Simultaneously, they commit to reducing absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 50.4% within the same timeframe. For the long term, Playtech plc plans to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 90% by 2040 from a 2022 base year, with a corresponding 90% reduction in absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions. Additionally, Playtech has a documented target to reduce its absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 40% by 2025 against a 2018 baseline.
