Playtech, an Isle of Man-headquartered company in the Computer and related services industry, reported its total greenhouse gas emissions for 2025 as approximately 66.8 million kg CO2e. This includes Scope 1 emissions of 762,000 kg CO2e, market-based Scope 2 emissions of 1.82 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of 64.24 million kg CO2e. In 2024, their total emissions were approximately 199.8 million kg CO2e, comprising 731,000 kg CO2e for Scope 1, 1.61 million kg CO2e for market-based Scope 2, and 197.49 million kg CO2e for Scope 3. For 2023, the total emissions were about 111 million kg CO2e, with Scope 1 at 2.74 million kg CO2e, market-based Scope 2 at 1.63 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at 106.64 million kg CO2e.

Playtech has set several climate commitments. The company aims to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2040. In the near term, Playtech plc commits to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 50.4% by 2032 from a 2022 base year. Concurrently, it also commits to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 50.4% within the same timeframe. For the long term, Playtech plc targets a 90% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 2040 from a 2022 base year, alongside a 90% reduction in absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions within the same period. These targets are validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as consistent with keeping warming to 1.5°C. Additionally, Playtech has a company-specific target to reduce its absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 40% by 2025 against a 2018 baseline.
